This Glass Polishing Wheel is used with the Pro Glass Polishing Compound (40011B) to remove the windshiled wiper haze typical of older vehicles. Not for the removal of deeper scratches. Try this simple test: Run your fingernail over the damaged area on the windshield. If your nail does not get caught on the scratch, then your windshield can be renewed using this wheel with compound. Backing flange fits 5/8in.-11 threaded shafts. The included adapter allows this wheel to fit your electric drill. The Auto Glass Sealant (34017 ZC) helps stops water leaks.
